Training in the dual system

Practice in the company, theory at the drawing academy

Theory at the Drawing Academy

The training provides trainees with the theoretical and practical knowledge they need to work successfully in their industry. In the dual system, they learn the practical aspects in the company and the theory with us.

Expertise

Here you will learn the basic techniques from a theoretical perspective. You will learn to develop alternatives and to think through and solve complex problems in craftsmanship and design.

Material customer

An important part of the training is the detailed knowledge of the different materials used in the craft. These include precious metals such as gold and silver, but also other materials such as pearls, stones and glass.

Draft

The trainees learn how to make sketches and designs for products and then put them into practice. This also includes aspects such as the selection of materials and the design of details. An increasingly important part of goldsmith training is the imparting of knowledge in computer-aided design (CAD). Here the trainees learn how to design and construct pieces of jewelry using CAD programs.

Business

Finally, the trainees are also taught economic basics, such as product calculation, drawing up a business plan, marketing strategies or legal basics.
