As a silversmith, you combine traditional craftsmanship with creative design. You shape unique everyday objects from various metals, especially vessels and tableware such as cups, jugs, bowls, candlesticks and cutlery. With a lot of patience and sensitivity, you design and create objects as individual pieces and small series.
In modern and well-equipped workshops, you will first learn the basics of the craft, such as sawing, filing, soldering, hammering and forging, before you use these skills to increasingly implement your own designs. Teamwork, space for individuality and success are important to us.
We develop visions of vessels and objects of “everyday life” that are intended to encourage pause and conscious perception, beyond the visual noise, and to encourage more sensuality and identification.
The aim is not innovation as an end in itself, but rather reformulation of function and content, as well as the communication of a material-appropriate and sustainable use of materials and resources.
Do you want to redefine everyday objects? Do you love design and working with your hands, do you have stamina and are enthusiastic?
Then apply to us!
