The job
Are you interested in furniture and object design, in the design and production of lights and home accessories? As a metal sculptor, you will learn the techniques that are important for the production of objects in the furniture and living area.
The craft
First, you will learn the basic techniques such as sawing, filing, soldering and casting in small learning groups in modern workshops. The interdisciplinary nature of the training will also give you an insight into the techniques of related professions.
The design
Project work promotes individual and collective creativity and teaches problem-solving strategies. The focus of the exercise process is on developing design skills and building prototypes. To do this, you will use computer-aided processes such as 3D CAD and the rapid production of models using rapid prototyping.
